Scholarship Programs

The Smooth Ashlar Grand Lodge Educational Excellence Scholarship Program recognizes graduating high school seniors who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, innovation, skilled trades, community service, and family legacy.

General Eligibility
• Graduating high school senior
• Meet the GPA requirement for the selected scholarship
• Plan to attend an accredited college, university, technical college, apprenticeship, or certification program as applicable
• Submit all required materials by the deadline
• Demonstrate good character and citizenship

Academic Excellence Scholarship
Overview:
Recognizes exceptional academic achievement and intellectual curiosity.
Award: $1,000 (one male and one female recipient where applicable).
Eligibility: Minimum GPA: 3.5
Must meet all general eligibility requirements.

Leadership Scholarship
Overview:
Recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding leadership and positive influence.
Award: $1,000 (one male and one female recipient where applicable).
Eligibility: Minimum GPA: 2.8
Must meet all general eligibility requirements.

STEAM Scholarship
Overview:
Recognizes future leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
Award: $1,000 (one male and one female recipient where applicable).
Eligibility Minimum GPA: 3.0
Must meet all general eligibility requirements.

Skilled Trades Scholarship
Overview:
Recognizes students pursuing technical, vocational, apprenticeship, or certification programs.
Award: $1,000 (one male and one female recipient where applicable).
Eligibility: Minimum GPA: 2.5
Must meet all general eligibility requirements.

Community Service Scholarship
Overview:
Recognizes students with exceptional volunteerism and civic
engagement.
Award: $1,000 (one male and one female recipient where applicable).
Eligibility: Minimum GPA: 2.8
Must meet all general eligibility requirements.

Legacy Scholarship
Overview:
Recognizes descendants of members of Smooth Ashlar Grand Lodge or affiliated organizations.
Award: $1,000 (one male and one female recipient where applicable).
Eligibility: Minimum GPA: 2.8
Must meet all general eligibility requirements.
